Yarn Giveaway Week 8

Oh my gosh, I’ve missed this little blog so much!  We are all finally on the mend and recovering.  Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and well wishes.  I have high hopes for a very healthy new year ahead.  And I have so much to share, too!  From a mood afghan, to the new Crochet-Along, and all sorts of crafts and recipes; I hardly know where to begin!  But I’ll be back to blogging regularly now that everyone is healthy again.  I also want to send a thank you out to the two folks waiting on yarn from the last giveaways – I promise I kept them safe in the closet far away from any germs :)  They’ll be mailed out first thing Monday morning, thanks for your patience!  Oh, and did I mention that we’ve had a blizzard here for the past couple of days?  It feels like winter has so far conspired to keep us indoors!  It’ll be nice to get out again, we all have cabin fever here!

So since I took a rain date on yarn last week, I have it here for you this week instead!  This is another single-ply worsted weight, 100 % wool yarn from 100purewool.  It’s a hand painted turquoise and orange color called “Reign”.  I originally picked it up because I thought it would make a perfect little sweater for my younger son.  But by the time I got around to making it, he had already grown (way too quickly, I might add) and they had already discontinued the color, so I couldn’t get any more.  My loss, your gain!  These two full skeins can be yours today for free!
